Più libri più liberi is Italy's national fair of small and medium publishers, held in Rome in early December. It is the professional and public meeting of independent Italian publishing, with rights tables as well as a reading audience. The 2026 edition ran in early December at La Nuvola. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 3–7 December 2027, the Friday-to-Tuesday shape of that edition. For BooksAffair it is the Rome week for independent publishers, translators, and the authors they publish, and a complement to Turin in May and Bologna in April. Those three Italian events serve different parts of the trade and should not be collapsed into one trip.
