Bengaluru's book year is a set of festivals and fairs rather than one municipal book fair. This listing is the Bengaluru Literature Festival, the city's flagship author event, usually held over a weekend in early December. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 4–6 December 2027. The audience mixes technology professionals, students, and serious readers, which is why the city matters for BooksAffair beyond a conventional trade stall: authors, literary influencers, and publishers meet a crowd that discovers books through talks as much as through shops. Smaller book fairs in the city are not given a second row, because their dates move and they serve the same readers. Use this weekend as the Bengaluru anchor and add any local book fair that the organisers announce beside it.
