The Singapore Writers Festival is the city's flagship literary festival, usually about ten days in early November, with authors from Singapore, South-East Asia, and further afield. It is a programme of talks and readings rather than a sales fair. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 6–15 November 2027. For BooksAffair the value is authors, festival programmers, and the publishers who appear with them, in front of a multilingual urban audience. It overlaps Sharjah and several European fairs, so it needs its own decision. The May book fair is the sales event; this is the author event.
