The China Shanghai International Children's Book Fair is the mainland children's publishing rights fair and a tier-one complement to Beijing for picture books, children's literature, and licensing. It is usually held in mid-November at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, over three or four days. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 12–14 November 2027, a Friday-to-Sunday slot in that season. Those days overlap Sharjah, so the two fairs compete for the same week. For BooksAffair, CCBF is where children's publishers and licensors meet Chinese buyers. Bologna in April remains the global children's rights fair; Shanghai is the China-market edition of that conversation.
