Mumbai does not have one dominant municipal book fair on the Kolkata model. Its literary year is a cluster of festivals and publisher events. This listing uses Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest, the city's established author festival, as the 2027 anchor. The dates are not yet published. This listing uses 19–21 November 2027, the festival's usual mid-to-late November weekend, at the National Centre for the Performing Arts. Publishers, authors, and readers meet in a programme of conversations rather than a stall city. For BooksAffair that is still the right Mumbai week: the country's publishing offices, film and media people, and a ticketed reading audience are in the same rooms. Add any separate Mumbai book fair the organisers announce; it is not given its own row until it has a stable name and dates.
