The Salon du Livre et de la Presse Jeunesse in Montreuil is France's major children's book fair, held in late November or early December at the Parc des Expositions. Publishers, illustrators, teachers, librarians, and families fill a programme of exhibitions and signings. It is the children's counterpart to the April Festival du Livre de Paris, which is listed separately. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 24–29 November 2027. For BooksAffair it is the French week for children's publishers, illustrators, and the school and library buyers who attend. Bologna remains the international rights fair; Montreuil is where French children's publishing meets its public.
