Buch Wien is Austria's international book fair and reading festival, held at Messe Wien. German-language publishers, authors, and a large Viennese public share several days of exhibitions and talks. It is usually in the second half of November. The 2026 edition ran 25–29 November. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 24–28 November 2027. Buch Wien is listed once, under Vienna, not also under Germany. For BooksAffair it is the Austrian meeting place for publishers and readers and a natural follow-on to Frankfurt for German-language lists.
