The Vancouver Writers Fest is the city's October literary festival, usually a week on Granville Island. Canadian and international authors read to a loyal coastal audience. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 19–25 October 2027. For BooksAffair it is the western Canadian author event, a tier-two festival. It overlaps the Toronto Festival of Authors' usual season, so the two may need to be chosen between once both programmes are published.
