The Cheltenham Literature Festival is one of Britain's major autumn literary festivals, usually about ten days in early October. Authors, publishers, and a loyal ticketed audience use the town's halls and tents. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 8–17 October 2027, which overlaps the Frankfurt Book Fair, so a team cannot do both in full. For BooksAffair, Cheltenham is the UK public-author event of the autumn. Frankfurt remains the higher priority if only one of those weeks is possible.
