The Macondo Literary Festival is Nairobi's international author festival, usually in September, with African and visiting writers, publishers, and a ticketed as well as public audience. It is the concrete festival behind the city's wider literary-events label. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 17–20 September 2027, just before the Nairobi International Book Fair window, so the two can be planned together if both are confirmed. For BooksAffair the value is authors and literary programmers rather than a sales floor.
