LIBER is Spain's international professional book fair, the rights and export meeting for Spanish-language publishing, and it alternates between Madrid and Barcelona. It is a trade fair, not the public Feria del Libro. The 2027 city and days are not yet published. This listing places it at IFEMA Madrid from 29 September to 1 October 2027, the usual three-day early-autumn slot in the week before Frankfurt, on the Madrid turn of the rotation. If the organisers award 2027 to Barcelona, only the city changes. For BooksAffair, LIBER is where Spanish and Latin American rights directors, distributors, and booksellers meet. The public Madrid and Barcelona fairs are listed separately because they serve readers rather than the trade.
