The Tehran International Book Fair is Iran's main publishing event and one of the largest public book fairs in Asia, usually in May at the Mosalla of Tehran. Iranian publishers exhibit to a very large reading public, with a smaller international section whose size depends on the political climate. The 2027 dates are not yet published. This listing uses 6–16 May 2027. Attendance is subject to visa and sanctions rules. For BooksAffair the fair is the Iranian meeting place for publishers and readers if a legal and practical path exists. It is not interchangeable with the Arab fairs in Cairo or Sharjah.
