FILBo, the Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá, is Colombia's international book fair and one of the essential Spanish-language public fairs. The Cámara Colombiana del Libro and Corferias organise the 39th edition. Official dates are 20 April to 3 May 2027 at Corferias. Sharjah is Guest of Honour, the first time an Arab emirate holds that role, so the fair is also a bridge between Latin American and Arab publishing. Two weeks of author events, publisher stands, and a professional programme draw readers from Bogotá and visiting editors from across the region. For BooksAffair, FILBo is the Colombian meeting place for authors, publishers, and reading communities, and the 2027 guest programme is a reason to talk to both Colombian houses and the Sharjah delegation in the same halls.
