The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival is the spring children's event of the Sharjah Book Authority, listed for 24 March to 4 April 2027 at Expo Centre Sharjah. It is separate from the November Sharjah International Book Fair. Publishers, illustrators, schools, and families use the fortnight for children's books, performances, and reading programmes. For BooksAffair it is the Gulf week dedicated to children's publishers and a young reading public, and it sits immediately before Bologna, so a Sharjah-then-Bologna sequence is possible if the final Bologna hours allow the travel. Confirm daily opening times with the authority.
