The London Book Fair is the main spring marketplace for English-language publishing and one of the two global rights fairs, with Frankfurt, that BooksAffair should treat as essential. The 2027 edition is confirmed for 16–18 March at ExCeL London, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock. Literary agents, publishers, distributors, and publishing-technology companies use the three days for rights appointments across adult trade, children's, academic, and audio. It is a professional fair rather than a public festival, so the value is in meetings with editors, agents, and rights directors who shape what gets published in English. Author events and seminars run alongside the appointment halls. Anyone building publisher, agent, or publishing-tech relationships in the UK and the wider English-language market should be here.
