The Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) is one of Russia’s longest-running and most important book industry events, bringing together publishers, authors, booksellers, libraries, cultural organizations, educational institutions, media, and readers. Established in 1977, the fair has developed into a major platform for presenting new publications, discussing developments in the publishing industry, encouraging reading, and building connections between Russian and international publishing communities.

The 2026 edition will take place at Gostiny Dvor, in the historic center of Moscow, and will also feature the 4th Moscow International Children’s Book Fair. The People’s Republic of China is the Guest of Honour, giving the event an additional international and cross-cultural dimension. Visitors can expect extensive book displays, author meetings, literary discussions, professional publishing sessions, children's programming, cultural presentations, and opportunities to discover publishing trends across different markets.
