ough the day. But when we can no longer suppress them, they consume us – fear traps us in uncertainty, anger burns us and jealousy festers into self-doubt. Even the emotions that seem positive – pride, happiness, love, gratitude – can lead us into an over-reliance on worldly attachments. It’s natural to feel helpless when emotions gather like dark clouds, blocking out our inner light. But the ancient scriptures offer a beautiful insight: you are not the storm. You are the sky. Clouds inevitably pass, but the sky remains untouched – vast and free. In this transformative guide, Swami Swaroopananda, renowned teacher, scholar and Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, shows us how we can take control of our feelings and find equanimity in our lives. The simple lessons offered in the book bridge the gap between timeless Vedantic insight and contemporary psychology, helping us find peace and live our best life. Each chapter in the book dives into a core emotion – anger, jealousy, guilt, love, sadness and more – inviting you to pause, reflect and reconnect with something deeper within you. You Are The Sky provides a roadmap for everyone. Exploring the nature of our innermost Self and the mind, it offers a universal path toward lasting clarity and fulfilment for the modern seeker. Unlock the path to true happiness, embrace life’s chaos and be as free as the sky.
