About the Author
The author is co-publisher of five weekly newspapers in the small Midwestern town of Macomb, Ill. She grew-up as number seven in a loving family of nine in the Ohio college town of Ada, where her father was Dean and professor at Ohio Northern University
She has been married 26 years to Tom. They operate the weekly newspapers together. They had one son, Trent, who died in 1998.
She has lived in Puerto Rico, Ohio, Switzerland, Florida, California, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois.
