About the Author
Marie Huskey was born and raised in Long Beach, California. Her parents exposed her to many different art forms, theater, pottery, film and fine art. Both her parents are artists and writers.
Many morning walks to school throughout her childhood were spent creating stories in her head to pass the time, many of these never made their way to paper. Journals and spiral notebooks were carried everywhere in her teenage years to capture the realistic dialogue she would hear from those around her on the public bus, in malls and in resaurants.
She has spent most of her life writing short stories and poetry, this is her first complete novel.
