Walsh has been a licensed psychotherapist for over twenty years. He received his Masters Degree in Counseling from California State University Long Beach in the late 70s. As a psychotherapist, he had worked at a number community counseling agency before establishing a private practice. He has always sought training and experiences that would better his own life and his skills as a psychotherapist. Born with cerebral palsy, Ed Walsh struggled to cope with societys prejudices, his fathers alcoholism, and the effects it had on his family. Being raised a Catholic gave him a strong connection to the mysteries of the spirit, but never fulfilled his deeper longings for spiritual understanding. In 1980, he attended Brugh Joys foundational conference in Lucerne Valley. This was a profound opening that lead to the exploration of many spiritual traditions and to many experiential awakenings. Ed Walsh is an accomplished lecturer and storyteller.
