About the Author :
Born in the city of Dijon (France) on 21 March 1979, Florent Gorges left for Japan at the tender age of 17. Translator and interpreter, he has over 350 manga volumes translated into French under his belt (The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, etc.) and in 2006 became the European correspondent for Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream. In 2007, he founded Pix’n Love Publishing followed by Omaké Books in 2010. Since then, he has authored numerous works which have become an international point of reference for video game history. In addition, he is the official biographer of multiple Japanese creators and artists, including Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy), Yoshihisa Kishimoto (Double Dragon), Tomohiro Nishikado (Space Invaders) as well as Suda51 (Killer 7, No More Heroes). He's also a YouTube channel called "Florent Gorges Playhistoire".
