Sy and Sam's Mom demonstrates this uncommon virtue through supervision especially at the developmental stage of her children. Monitoring activities and conversations of children in order to correct or guide just like their Mom absolutely is a great method of good parenting system.
Also, the consciousness of taking consequence for any action one commits injected in the minds of the two main characters Sy and Sam is a great way to go. Yes, children become careful and mindful of engaging in negative behaviors when they understand the dire consequences. Therefore, each action must be well thought-out before it could be carried out which is exactly the case addressed in the book.
Structurally, the book is short and straight to the point. The sentence structure too is carefully chosen by the author considering the target population (children). In essence, there are no jaw-breaking words, vague expression and or compound complex sentence structures.
The book is good to be read in all households by both parents and their children.
