Review
I knew nothing about Multiple Sclerosis before seeing this book, but as a caregiver I have worked with many disabled people.
This book was very thought provoking. I am able to look at my clients in a whole new light and I hope make a positive difference in their lives. I have never been moved by a book until now. -- Tracy LordOn the technical side I find the computer editing of high quality.
It amazed me how each writing perfectly fit individual photos.
The book is uplifting and encouraging. You see I have MS and I now see that I can do anything I put my mind to if I take one step at a time and I am not alone in my journey. -- Sandy JamesWOW!

About the Author
Pauline A. Kimball was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont. In 1980 she began to develop the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, and in 1995, it was diagnosed. Since her diagnosis she has been a strong advocate for other individuals facing the challenge of this disease.
Ms. Kimball seeks to capture the heroic act of living every day for those suffering from MS. She hopes to reveal the strength and perseverance that makes these people true champions.
Her first experience with the MS Society was the Malibu Camp of 1995. She saw caregivers and spouses devoting their lives to their charges. She saw the bonding of friendships, and the relieving of the pressures of life. It had a profound effect on her.
Ms. Kimball owes her gratitude to, among others, the National Multiple Society, Inland Empire Branch, for their information, their training, their social outreaches and their unending support.
Through all the struggles and discouragements that accompany MS, Ms. Kimball has persevered. Her strength and determination have pulled her through innumerable set backs. Her generosity and concern for others shines brightly in the dark tunnel of this disease. Her overcoming nature has made her a true Star. ....Carrie Anne Still
