, para luego fundar un grupo literario y editar una publicación periódica literaria llamada El Mástil Roto. Dirigió un suplemento cultural semanal llamado Fragua en la ciudad de Maturín, en Venezuela. En 2007 emigra a Estados Unidos y, por la necesidad de expresar el arte a través de un lenguaje universal, estudió fotografía y obtuvo su certificación por el Houston Center for Photography. Ha publicado libros de poesía, siendo el más reciente Convergencias y divergencias (Palibrio) y el libro de cuentos La Billo’s no, compadre (Trafford Publishing). Fue compilador de Escritores Cronopios Houston (Letralia-FBLibros, 2024). Adicionalmente ha hecho crítica de arte. Continúa escribiendo y haciendo fotografía artística (www.photoartex.com) en Houston, Texas. Ha participado en el grupo Escritores Cronopios Houston desde 2015.
He was born in Barcelona, Venezuela, in 1962. Writer, photographer, and engineer. In the middle of his university studies, he began writing and later founded a literary group and edited a literary publication called El Mástil Roto. He directed a weekly cultural supplement called Fragua in the city of Maturín, Venezuela. In 2007, he emigrated to the United States and, driven by a need to express art through a universal language, studied photography and obtained his certification from the Houston Center for Photography. He has published poetry books, the most recent being Convergencias y divergencias (Palibrio), as well as a short story collection titled La Billo’s no, compadre (Trafford Publishing), and he was the compiler of Escritores Cronopios Houston, Antología (Letralia-FBLibros Publishing, 2024). Additionally, he has written art criticism. He continues to write and create artistic photography (www.photoartex.com) in Houston, Texas. He has been a member of the group Escritores Cronopios Houston since 2015.
