d Miracle Power for Infinite Riches. Murphy was born in Ireland and he moved to the US in his twenties. He worked as a pharmacist in New York and attended the Church of the Healing Christ. He shifted to Los Angeles and was ordained into Religious Science two years later. He began teaching at the Institute of Religious Science and then became the minister of the Los Angeles Divine Science Church. Murphy completed his doctorate in Psychology from the University of Southern California. The author passed away in 1981.
