hat is commonly called addiction. Addiction in all of its manifestations including thought patterns, behavior patterns and/or use of chemicals.
We believe that any person with the condition commonly called addiction, in all of its manifestations, can quit negatively obsessing, manage or stop the negative thought patterns and behaviors, find positive passions in life, and succeed in every area of their life.
The success-oriented principles we study and practice are found in major belief systems, approaches to life, and religions, from every time and place. Religious and theological terms are not used to help us find unity in our diversity.
Each member is free to let the study and practice of these universal principles take them to their personally developed and chosen relationship with their universe as each understands it. We believe all people, everywhere, have more in common than different. We have the most to learn from the person we disagree with the most and who seems most different.
Our focus is only on what I can think, feel, and do, in the present moment to succeed in all areas of my life. Our first-person approach, we believe, gives each person one more option in the community of diverse programs related to recovery from addiction. In all its manifestations.
I declare, in first person statements, mantras and “I am statements” that “I am the principles.” “I am love.” “My study and practice of love is my inexhaustible self-discovery process.” “I am unconditional love.”
We seek only the unity in our diversity and the diversity in our unity. We believe that progress is perfection. No person has, can, or will be better than their best in the present moment. Each person determines what their best is and is accountable.
Doing my best is progress. Progress is the perfection of me. Perfection, for me, is found in being of maximum service in this present moment and all relationships in it. Change is all that is constant. I choose to constantly learn, change, and grow.
The experience and wisdom of many, spanning thousands of years of experience in all types of recovery programs, have led to the development of PIP Success. Experiences had, lessons learned, wisdom gained, improvements made and constant mentoring. An oral tradition where stories are created, passed on and learned from in one-to-one mentoring relationships in many communities around the world.
The members of PIP Success claim only to be experts in their own stories and life experience. We describe our past, present, and future with a positive attitude that is principle based.
