eadings of important Enlightenment and postmodern texts, Claudia Moscovici explores Enlightenment theories of knowledge and postmodern ethics, offering a cogent introduction to contemporary scholarly debates regarding these subjects. She then supplements the traditional scholarly discussion of postmodernism with a literary response to selected postmodern texts. While her review of scholarly essays provides a general theoretical background to postmodernism, the novella she presents illustrates some of the themes and tropes of postmodern literature. Unique in its approach yet accessible to a wide audience, Perusals Into (Post) Modern Thought is an engaging work that will be of value to students and scholars seeking a better understanding of postmodernism and its cultural effects.
