ructure was often a barrier to experiencing healthy feelings and relationships. We experienced many guilt trips, and we often had no one to turn to. So many of us suffered in silence. Sometimes answers and comfort were blended into a family of seven brothers, three sisters and well-meaning parents. Often, those attempts of finding answers were distorted by a Catholic Church that preached both love and understanding, yet taught and reinforced Church dogma. There were few people who could show you the way that lead to harmony within yourself.
