Review
I feel these [practice story problems] are the definate strengths of the book. There has always been a need for these and the book meets these needs effectively. I like how each example test is structured. --
Steve Ramsier, Statistical Methods Manager MRI/EMU
K. S. Speiser has written a book that takes some of the mystery out of statistics. Not written for statisticians, No Stress Hypothesis Testing explains statistical significance testing in terms that virtually anyone can comprehend. Using fine examples and without the complicated mathematical proofs involved, the book explains these concepts in everyday language. With the aid of well thought out examples, well explained worksheets, the reasons for testing are given and the results examined. The examples are written for manufacturing in such a way that they are adaptable to virtually any business environment. If you a statistician or a statistical purist, this book is not for you. But if yoiu want a clear and comprehendible handbook for imporving processes, this is an ideal tool. --
