The epistles were also written to remind and encourage Christians to remain faithful to the Lord (Hebrews 13:22; 2 Peter 1:12-15;1 John 2:12-14).When we approach the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), we know we are going to learn about the life of Jesus. The book of Acts contains the history of the establishment of the church and the initial spread of the gospel. However, the 21 epistles in the New Testament vary in their content. Some are written to local churches; some are written to individuals; and some are written to Christians at large. Some are easy to read and understand, while others deal with complex doctrinal matters. Many of them combine "meaty" doctrine with practical application.This workbook is a survey of the New Testament epistles. The lessons consider the reason each epistle was written, summarize its contents, and highlight important truths that we can use in our daily lives.
