as only partially finished at his death. His work was intended to be a full commentary on the Pentateuch. The Treatise was composed during the period when Pasqually's most gifted adepts - the Abbé Fournié and Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin - were acting as his personal secretaries.
Like his contemporary Emmanuel Swedenborg, Martinez de Pasqually is said to have experienced dreams and visions of spiritual realms and the multiplicity of beings inhabiting them. The themes we encounter in the Treatise inevitably include elements of spiritualism and strong alchemical and Rosicrucian principles.
Widely regarded as one of the best translations into English. With a preface by Matt Fletcher.
