किसी भी रचना के छपते ही इस इच्छा का जगना कि अधिक-से-अधिक लोग इसे पढ़ें, केवल पढ़ें ही नहीं, बल्कि इससे जुड़ें भी—संवेदना के स्तर पर उसके भागीदार भी बनें, यानी कि एक की कथा-व्यथा अनेक की बन सके, बने...केवल मेरे ही क्यों, अधिकांश लेखकों के लिखने के मूल में एक और अनेक के बीच सेतु बनने की यह कामना ही निहित नहीं रहती?
