Description
Luke II examines personal spiritual growth. Each of three sections is based upon important gospel themes. These stories interface with our modern cult
...
ural understanding of human nature.
Part A amplifies the story of a Samaritan who befriends his cultural enemy, a Jew. Both experience unexpected, transforming emotional renewal. A new communication begins.
Part B follows the social and spiritual resurrection of Mad Dog Munson. For years he hounded isolated burial caves. He was a psychotic, non-person, possessed by the demons of failed existence. Mad Dog encounters the miraculous healing of unconditional love. In a strange twist of fate, his emerging recovery leads to bonding with the herder whose animals were destroyed.
Part C shows us a family in disintegration. We first learn of a rebellious son, alienated and frivolous. Next there is the dutiful son, unforgiving and protective. And finally, we sense the healing compassion of steadfast caring and forgiveness. The dispirited youth struggles for identity and meaning.
These stories invite you to enjoy, inquire, question and follow from them onto the pages of your own life experiences.
