ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
A journey into the mind of Buffett to understand his main investments.
Since the 1950s, Warren Buffett and his partners have backed some of the most profitable companies of the 20th century. But how did they know they were making the right investments? What did they look for in a promising company and how can others replicate their approach?
This book is a gift for followers of the legendary investor who have long sought a pattern behind his success. Yefei Lu, a scholar of his figure, takes twenty concrete cases from among Buffett's major investments in companies like The Washington Post, Coca-Cola, and IBM.
And thanks to access to letters from the investor himself, annual reports, business documents, and other primary sources, he has managed to unravel and reconstruct from the outside the logic behind each of those decisions. The publishing market is flooded with biographies of Buffett and books on his business philosophy, but there are few that have focused on his actual investments rather than the person.
Inside the Investments of Warren Buffett presents the most detailed analysis to date of his portfolio, revealing his keys and identifying what could work equally well for other investors.
