Wrong Rub Wrong Seat -- Table of Poems from Poem Finder® From the Back Cover The details of happiness in the daily events of an American family are eloquently portrayed in "Kat-Tales," Kathryn Grice's collection of poems and short stories. The author describes her family, friends and acquaintances with various tales of humor, sympathy and compassion. Each entry reminisces a colorful, joyous or sad event in Kathryn's long life. From the stories of long ago to the memories of parties that have recently occurred, her tales make us yearn for the days of youth and the kind of family that stays together throughout the years. Pets invade the household; anniversaries and birthdays are celebrated; stories told by friends are related; jokes are retold; friendships are valued; and loved ones who have passed on are honored in "Kat-Tales." Each tale brings a smile to the face or a tear to the eye. Kathryn Grice has a unique and heartfelt way to remember her life and give hope for the stories yet to come. About the Author Kathryn Grice comes from a very large family, being the ninth of ten children. This has obviously given her many stories and experiences to draw on in her years of writing. In her first book, "Moments and Memories," (Rutledge Books, Inc., 1997), she included "The Rainbow's End" and "A Delicate Balance," named among the "Best Poems of the '90s." Mrs. Grice is active in her local church and keeps very busy with her family and friends. She and John, her husband of fifty-two years, reside in North Carolina where they own a skating rink, which they founded nearly forty years ago. They are the parents of a son and a daughter and are the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren.
