Description
Over the years, I have learned to find respite in the woods near my home. Walking the paths, sometimes twice daily, allowed me to sort through many of

life's challenges. It was in the woods that I found answers by observing the actions of the animals, listening to the songs of the birds, and feeling the breezes blow. In time, the observations became messages for me. We became one, the woods and me. And, over time, words poured out in the form of poetry. This is a collection of those poems sorted by the year's seasons. This is a book meant to be enjoyed in bits and pieces. The photography is primarily the work of my dear friend, Mark Jung. His poetry is accomplished through the lens of his camera. Our merger of words and photos only made sense. Ink On Paper II is provided in full color to bring out all the beauty that we have seen in nature. I hope this book gives you the peace and comfort it has given both of us.
