Description
The Indiana state high school boys' basketball tournament began in 1911 and has continued to draw the attention of Hoosiers since its inception. Every
...
year the pairings are announced and the tournament begins at the 64 sectional sites throughout the state. When those champions are determined, the tournament then continues with the Regional, Semi-State and State Finals on successive weekends in March. From 1911 through 1997, Indiana crowned one champion regardless of the size of the school. Four Class basketball arrived in 1998 and continues to this day. This book reviews some of the history of the tournament, but the primary focus is on the brackets of the 64 sectional champions each year and the scores of every tournament game thereafter as each team begins its quest to become State Champions.
