Description
It has been said that doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same results is defined as insanity. So what does that really mean? Are
...
some of us truly insane or are we just stuck? Many of us get caught in a cycle of dysfunctional thinking and behaving because we truly don't understand what's reinforcing that cycle. As children, we did what we needed to do so we could survive some of the traumas that occurred in childhood. As adults, it is not uncommon to dismiss or try to forget about what we endured, until the past starts to play out in our adult lives. It is in that moment that we realize we are NOT ok. This book, explores the "wounded" pieces of us that helped us survive childhood and presents a new theory of self-healing for women.
Using an eclectic model of healing building on the ideas and concepts of well-known respected theorists, the healing journey of the wounded inner child is uncovered in a practical straight forward manner.
