It’s no secret. You love what you do. But admit it. Sometimes making the same type of alcohol over and over again can get boring. You’re looking for a challenge, even if it’s a different twist to an old favorite.
If I read your mind, that’s because I, too, am a home distiller. I’ve been enjoying my activity for a little more than 15 years. But something was missing. A part of the joy I had always felt when the hearts drained into my cup was gone. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I still loved it. But it had begun to feel too normal if that makes any sense.
Infused Recipes Too
In addition to distilling recipes, I’ve included my favorite infused recipes. You know what I’m talking about. You take your home-distilled liquor and allow it to steep in a combination of fruits or herbs to develop an extraordinary version. It’s a technique that’s both satisfying and delicious.
I’ve found some interesting infusion combinations, so I hope you don’t discount those in a rush to try out the distilling recipes.
It’s my sincere desire that you enjoy the recipes I found and refined as much as I do. If you have found distilling to have become matter of fact and the challenge lacking, I hope these new views on the hobby help.
