Let Us Teach Kids
Description
When I was a little girl, I accepted Jesus as my Savior, but I was still hungry for more of God. I knew there had to be more. I didn't know anything a

bout the Holy Spirit until a new girl moved into the house on the corner of my street. When I went with her to church, I discovered that I could be filled with the Holy Spirit. Then one Wednesday night, I received the Holy Spirit. That experience began a life-long friendship with Precious Holy Spirit. Oh, what a wonderful counselor, comforter and friend He has been all these years.
Does your child know Him as their Friend? Has your child experienced the power of the Holy Spirit personally? It breaks my heart, that for so many children, the Holy Spirit is a stranger, especially in times like we live in today! We all need God’s guidance, power and love to be the witness and overcome that God planned us to become.
Christianity is not one more self-help program. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us overcome sin and become more like Jesus. Because God knew that we would need a helper, God the Father, sent Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost to fill believers. He came to help us understand the Bible and know Jesus better. He came to be our friend.
Often, when children hear His name, Holy Spirit, they wonder who He is. I love to explain to them that in Acts 19 , which takes place 20 years after Pentecost, that some believers in Ephesus asked that very same question.
In this beautiful book filled with pictures of windy beaches, kites and wind turbines, I explain with simple and understandable illustrations, some of the ways that the Holy Spirit is like the wind. Like the wind, you can't see Holy Spirit, but He is very, very real.
I explain to children, that not only is He real, Acts 2:39 tells us that children can be filled with Holy Spirit too. Then I explain how to receive God's wonderful gift, the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
If you are ready to help your children go deeper in the things of God, then this book is a perfect tool to help you tell them about the Holy Spirit.
