Family life is emphasized. Specific doctrine, theology, and directed religious practices are left for adult family members to provide. Activities at the ends of chapters assist adults in providing hands-on faith experiences. From the Author My previous work with children and youth as Director of Christian Education in four churches over several years provides my experience; my degree in sociology sets the scope of my writing; and my love for my grandchildren urges me onward. My hope is that grandparents will intentionally share their faith as well as their love with their grandchildren. About the Author Pat Parker is "Mom" to three,and "Granny" to three. As a church professional, she worked for many years as Christian Education Director, PreSchool Director, and Youth Director for four churches in three states. She has also worked as a financial consultant and as Director of three social service agencies. Her concern for children's well-being comes from a diverse background. Now retired she lives with her husband in the Blue Ridge Mountains near the Parkway.
