EMBARK is designed for those who’ve recently accepted Christ and those who want to develop a more solid foundation in their spiritual journey. You won’t find a lot of churchy language, and we purposefully ask tough questions that anyone investigating Jesus Christ would be asking.

STUDY LAYOUT
EMBARK has two primary sections: First Steps and Rebuilding a Bridge to God. First Steps deals foundational questions– “who is God? who is mankind? what was their relationship supposed to be like?” Rebuilding a Bridge to God discusses what God intended for us when he created us, how sin messed God’s plan up, and how Jesus and the Holy Spirit fix what sin messed up.
CHAPTER LAYOUT
Jesus taught us that God the Father seeks worshipers who worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). While some studies tend to look at only the truths of Scripture, Embark goes further. This book teaches you how to know God better and find new and deeper ways of worshiping Him. To do this, each chapter contains four sections: Truth, Questions to Consider, Spirit, and Spiritual Journal.
Truth
Each chapter begins by outlining scriptural truths through a series of stories and Bible study.
Questions to Consider
This section lists thought-provoking questions to help you evaluate the ideas in the Truth section and apply them to your relationship with God.
Spirit
The Spirit section helps you become more sensitive to God and His leading. The Bible teaches us that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). The Spirit section guides you through talking with God, reading the Bible, serving others, worshiping, and evaluating your spiritual journey.
Spiritual Journal
The Spiritual Journal appears after the Spirit section. Many people find it helpful to record their thoughts and ideas. In the Spiritual Journal section you will keep track of your progress as you grow closer to God. It guides you as you create a record of your journey and discoveries. Journaling is a way to record thoughts, refine questions and capture insights. As you read the chapters, explores the Scripture, and opens yourself to God’s leading, the journal is a place to reflect on what is happening in your spiritual journey.
