ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
Irene Vallejo breathes new life into another classic story.
The journey of an eager traveler through the worlds she imagines is as absurd as it is entertaining, and this sentiment is beautifully captured by illustrator José Luis Cano.
Based on the Greco-Roman classic A True Story by Lucian of Samosata, Irene Vallejo once again works her magic with a tale for readers of all ages who wish to keep their imaginations alive. The author draws from this ancient parody of sailors' tales, reviving a clever story filled with fantastical worlds and unimaginable creatures like pumpkin pirates and thumb-sized warriors.
Guided by the protagonist, we'll learn what to do when swallowed by a whale, we'll let our imagination soar to discover new places, and fight in the most unexpected battles in the name of justice.
