m down on paper, and today they have taken the form of a book. All these poems and stories are a reflection of my life and my thoughts. Nothing written in this is based on any specific person's life. This is simply a collection of my thoughts.
Rakesh Kapoor was born on 15th February 1954 in Delhi. He received his primary education in a government school, as was common in a middle-class family. His childhood was spent in a literary atmosphere at home.
His father and uncle were interested in literature, and his elder brother is also a literary person.
After retiring from Britannia Industries he devoted his life to writing poems and articles.
From a literary standpoint, he does not consider his writings to be of very high quality. He simply put down on paper the beautiful emotions of his heart. He had tried to present simple, straightforward feelings in a simple way.
His wife Sushma has always been a partner in his writings. She used to do proofreading and also share her thoughts.
Today, He dedicate this collection to the memory of his late parents.
By God's grace, he is living a comfortable and prosperous life. And seeing hisgrand daughter, Anaysha and grandson Agniv fills his heart with immense joy.
He wishes that his granddaughter Anayasha and grandson Agniv will listen to and read these poems and stories with their parents. And that this book will inspire them to carry forward the family tradition of writing.
