This book is focused on the Winter season in the Northern Hemisphere and includes star maps from the Winter Solstice at the end of December through March.
After studying the stars in the night sky for many years we made some enormous discoveries, but quickly realized most people have lost the knowledge of how everything moves in the sky above our heads to be able to appreciate those discoveries. This became our first problem to solve.
This series of books was created to help you reclaim the lost knowledge of the stars in the night sky so you could become what we call ★star-sighted.
We are an independent, married couple team who created this series to teach this easy and practical method for identifying star constellations that requires no technology of any kind, just your naked eyes and curious mind.
★Each book in the series focuses on just one stargazing season at a time, as the stars that appear in the night sky will be different depending on the time of year you are doing your stargazing.
★There are full page sky maps of the star constellations that you will learn for the beginning of each month of the season, during two specific times of the day - the first two hours after sunset and the last hour of the night before sunrise.
★This method of learning the star constellations and the sky maps that are included will work for you no matter where in the Northern Hemisphere you live.
★Large print is used to make reading in low-light stargazing conditions easier and dot grid pages are also included for you to make your own notes and drawings of your observations.
