nior" member on the expedition. The only problem was that I had never in my life seen so many unsure, unwilling participants on a fishing trip. These young men desired to see people drawn towards God's kingdom. They simply were not comfortably about the method with which we were supposed to fish. This book contains fourteen one-week meditations and study questions that examine the methods/principles used by Jesus and His disciples to reach a lost and hurting world. They didn't use one method in fishing, neither do we. We have been given freedom in fishing! May these meditations help set you free to use your unique blend of spiritual gifts, personalities, passions, and experiences to join the greates fishing expedition of all time!

Fishing with John the Baptist (Mark 1:108)
Mark Tuinei, Nate Newton, Ray Donaldson, Ron Stone, Larry Allen. Household Names?
Maybe - if your television and your mind are preset for the footbal season. Or if you live in the Lone Star State, as I do. (But, shh, I'm still a Viking's fan from my college days).

No need to use two names. Just say "Emmitt" and people automatically picture that slashing style and smashing smile. The world's icons and heroes - Emmitt, Troy, Shaq, Hakeem, Deion.
Now, who did you say those offensive linemen were? Forgot already didn't you?
Thses linemen knew that they were not going to receive the accolades, endorsements, or salaries of the marquee players. It goes with the position.
As disciples of Jesus, we must have a similar mindset. John the Baptizer (he wasn't really a Baptist, you know) understood this principle. His job was to prepare the way for the Messiah. He was not fishing for himsel, but for
