It also includes solutions to more difficult proof-based questions that may be found in an advanced first-year course. Before graduating with a Ph.D. at Cornell University, the author wrote this study guide to better help students having difficulty with mathematics. From his time as a teaching assistant, students would often approach him about confusing online solutions or poorly explained help manual solutions.
