About the Author
LEAH WAYBRIGHT is a Floral Artist, Wildflower Preservationist, Teacher, Composer and Pianist. She is currently an instructor of Floral Design at New York Botanical Garden as well as the curator of a wildflower preserve at Teatown Lake Reservation. She began her floral design career working at flower shops in Washington D.C., San Francisco and New York and earned her prestigious A.I.F.D. (American Institute of Floral Design) designation. Leah is also a noted guest speaker, giving a wide variety of special floral programs for garden clubs and civic groups in the greater New York area. Leah's other memberships include both the American and the New York Horticultural Societies. She has been playing the piano since childhood and studied music formally at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
