eaching career as a high school art teacher in Ossining, New York, where he was twice named Teacher-of-the-Year and twice named yearbook dedicatee. He eventually became art coordinator for the Ossining Public Schools. During his tenure there, he won a Fulbright Fellowship and a Smith-Mundt Grant to teach and train teachers in Israel. Several foreign trips later, he became an adjunct assistant professor of art history at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York. The travel bug bit hard, and he began leading trips, finally creating his own travel company, GLOBETROTTOURS, INC. He is co-author of OSSINING REMEMBERED, published by Arcadia in 1999.
