ects of National Significance Program grantee organizations have been engaging youth to provide services to other youth. It is an initial step to better understanding the importance of youth empowerment positions from both the adult and adolescent perspectives. The study suggests that, while there are barriers in utilizing youth in HIV/AIDS service delivery, projects have developed strategies for overcoming them and have made youth involvement a positive experience for both staff and clients.
